Το Κέντρο Καριέρας του Ευρωπαϊκού Πανεπιστημίου Κύπρου διοργάνωσε στις 30 Ιουνίου 2020 διαδικτυακό σεμινάριο με θέμα «Ετοιμάσου για το αύριο με το Φοιτητικό Πρόγραμμα του ICAEW»
Η ομιλήτρια, κα Χριστιάνα Διόλα, Διευθύντρια Κύπρου & Ελλάδας και ανώτερο μέλος της ομάδας για την περιφέρεια της Ευρώπης τou Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) παρουσίασε στους φοιτητές τον οργανισμό και τη δυνατότητα εξέλιξης στην αγορά εργασίας μέσω της πιστοποίησης ACA.
Η κα Διόλα ανέφερε ότι τo ICAEW προσφέρει στους φοιτητές του Ευρωπαϊκού Πανεπιστημίου Κύπρου δωρεάν εγγραφή στην πλατφόρμα USS. Η πλατφόρμα υποστηρίζει την ανάπτυξη ικανοτήτων, όπως κατανόηση του επαγγελματικού περιβάλλοντος, προετοιμασία για συνέντευξη, ψυχομετρική αξιολόγηση, Λογιστικές δεξιότητες σχετικές με Excel και Cloud. Προσφέρει επίσης πρόσβαση στην παγκόσμια βιβλιοθήκη του ICAEW όπου οι φοιτητές μπορούν να κάνουν δωρεάν εγγραφή, σε Πιστοποιήσεις Οικονομικών, Λογιστικής και Διοίκησης Επιχειρήσεων.
Οι συμμετέχοντες ενημερώθηκαν πως να αναπτύξουν και βελτιστοποιήσουν το βιογραφικό τους, αποχτώντας έτσι ανταγωνιστικό πλεονέκτημα στην αγορά εργασίας. Η κα Δίολα προσκάλεσε τους φοιτητές να συνδεθούν στη διαδικτυακή πύλη και να ξεκινήσουν το ταξίδι τους με το ICAEW Student Scheme.
European University Cyprus Career Center organized a webinar on June 30, 2020, entitled "Step up to tomorrow with the ICAEW Student Scheme"
The speaker, Ms. Christiana Diola, Head of Cyprus & Greece and senior member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales’ Europe Region team, informed the students about the ICAEW and the career opportunities for its members.
Subsequently, Ms. Diola presented the online portal USS to which the ICAEW provides access for European University Cyprus students free of charge. The USS portal supports university students in developing a variety of important employability skill areas including understanding the professional environment, preparing for interviews/psychometric assessments, Excel and Cloud Accounting skills as well as access to ICAEW’s world-class library to support their studies. Students may also register free of charge for the Certificate in Finance, Accounting and Business and begin their journey to career in finance.
The participants were also informed about the opportunity of enhancing their CV to stand out from their peers in job applications and on how to access additional resources to support their university studies. Ms. Diola invited students to register and begin their journey with the ICAEW Student Scheme.
